Staying at the Pebley Inn felt like stepping back in time to a cozy, historical pub in the heart of Derbyshire. the warm and charming atmosphere instantly relaxed us, with a good mix of regular customers enjoying food and drink. the room was well-equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and free WiFi, while still retaining its old coaching inn charm. The staff, especially Amy, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a small hiccup with the heating. the friendly locals and manager added to the experience, making us feel right at home. We didn't have time to try the food, but it looked and smelled delicious. The garden area and open fire were perfect for relaxing with a drink, and our dog was warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for us. the location was ideal for exploring the rural charm of the area, with attractions like Clumber Park and Chatsworth House just a short drive away.
